Our history
Inverstar SRL was founded in 2013 as an initiative by two entrepreneurs, Mr. Jickson A. Disla Valdez and Mr. Federico Núñez Pichardo, following their departure as executives from the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic, where they identified opportunities to represent companies from the Euro-Asian region in the Dominican Republic.
They represented Asian and South American SMEs seeking to enter the Caribbean market. In 2015, after a meeting with businessman Cesar Lam from Chinatown, he introduced the idea for the Trading Center of China, a virtual hub representing all SMEs from the People’s Republic of China and Taiwan.
Under the Inverstar umbrella, we founded the Trading Center of China. These initiatives were postponed due to economic maturity and development, but now present new opportunities for our region due to the geopolitical changes triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2019.
Currently, Inverstar manages the Ciudad Terrena project, a high-level real estate development where all the ideas matured with the Trading Center will converge.
